PooPanda made a great post about where to leave your DB afk: www.reddit.com/r/pocketmaplestory/comments/3r89uz/abilities_for_dual_blade/cwplcwv

Here is the text:

From level 1 to 130 I prioritized defense and trained on maps where I only take 1 damage. These are the maps I leveled on my DB. Sometimes I would not bother to move to a new map cause I was to lazy (lol).

Please note, This is not a Leveling Guide These maps and level range were what I did when I was leveling my DB.

1 - 30 - I just quested in my starting Zone and Perion.

I auto battled every single quest, so I would stay on some maps longer then I should of.

30 - 40 - Ludi Hidden Map - Cloud Terrace.

40 - 50 - Aqua Road Hidden Map - Mushroom Coral Hill

50 - 60 - Magatia - Lab Unit 201.

I preferred Lab Unit 201 over the hidden map as the map was easier to navigate and I did not get stuck as much.

70 - 80 - Ariant Hidden Map - Outsite East Entrance of Ariant

80 - 90 - Mu Lung Hidden Map - Practice Field: Advanced

90 - 100 - El Nath Hidden Map - Cold Field

100 - 110 - Orbis Hidden Map - Orbis Tower 18 - 90

110 - 130 - Temple of Time Hidden Map - Frozen Past.

This level range took the longest to level. My DB would get wrecked on any map past Temple of Time so I decided to stay in Temple of Time until I was able to max out my 6th job skill, Sudden Raid.

From 1 to 130, I went full dex.

I made sure I had the highest level equips for my level and I made sure I +1 to +2'd my gear for added defense rating. Since I was auto combating all the time I did not mind that my attacks were weak.

Also, You can probably enter each training map listed above 10+ levels earlier if you have the VIP defense 1 buff.

Earlier maps you could probably enter 10 levels earlier with a +3 ring for higher HP regen.

From level 130 - 150 I switched my specc to 1 luk, 2 dex and manually trained using Sudden Raid.

130 - 140 I trained in Mushroom Kingdom hidden map

140 - 150 I trained in Lion King's Castle hidden map.

130 - 150 was the fasted for me to level but it was very expensive, but in mana & hp pots (10m worth)

I just noticed a little mistake at Lvl 110-130:

It's not possible to move to Temple of Time at Lv. 110 as you need to be at least 116 for the main quest.

Anyone know whether pure dex is better?
Level 63 right now and I have 50 dex and roughly 150 luck.

(Estimate since I'm not on right now)

Overnight I'm only getting around 2 levels (Using the mythril guys at lab, first lab area on the right from the town, lab A I believe)
Due to the fact they can't hit me really .
I take about 100 damage from the people at Lab B which is what's supposibly the best, and I have a pet that auto heals and a small ring that does around 50 HP regen (+2)
What I'm getting to is that buying bulk food/potions are 1,000 each and expensive.

So should I switch from luck to ALL dex, and if so how many levels would I be expected to be able to get / night

*** At the lab area, I get roughly 3-4 levels a night.
Not too efficient, eh?
Also that is at Lab B

Hold on, there is a gap. What did you do from 60-70?

@Tyas2000 I'm currently a Lv.110 DB and I went full dex until Lv. 70. It's pretty awesome if you auto-afk at night, but it does take almost forever to level up manually. After Lv.70 I put 1 on dex and 2 on luk as I lacked at attacking. Prepare for a low amount of level-ups at night. You're not hitting hard with full-dex, defeating mobs takes longer.

DB's are like the biggest pay off if you can get to 110+

I've heard that before。
But I spent money to go full dex and I level like once/twice a night.
Especially at 63~>64
That's really slow
Tiny bit of dex and rest luck like 50 dex rest luck, and using a pink bean pet that uses my potions seems MUCH more efficient.

Why is this? They seem to be the weakest class out right now.

Dual blades do MASSIVE amounts of damage once u get 6th jo advancement and once you're geared to 100% critical rate. Any true player of the real MS knows this =)
They're in the top 5 classes (PC official version) and there are over 35 classes.

DS is also in top 5 but AB is garbage.
Honestly I'm not sure why people like AB in PMS

Why bring GMS into this? Also they're not even top 5 anymore...
In PMS, DBs are missing phantom blow and asura.

Doesn't mean they're not better bossing and grouping than the other 2 classes. DS is right up there though

Is there enough SP to be maxing both chains and raid?
I presume ABs are popular because:
1. Easy lvling pre- and post- mushroom
2. Resonance (anti-boss and AOE)

It's possible, but gotta sacrifice final cut and thorns to do so.

@Tyas2000
Yup DBs are in the top 3 for sure... Right behind AB and DS.

Depends on how you've spent the other SP's. I'm currently saving my SP for Raid and Thorns/Final Cut. I'm Lv. 111, 14 SP's already saved, 78 SP's to go.

Edit: Yep, it's definitly possible. I maxed Sudden Raid, Thorns AND Final Cut.

Id say Chains, Raid, and Final Cut would be the most versatile and then just add points/gear into INT for the 100% Crit rating.
